Our goal is to build better handlers and dogs with education and exposure.  Group Classes are a great way to teach your dog manners and to work on your handling skills while guided and supervised by professionals.

Part of our classes include "circle time" where we lecture  about current topics or open the floor for dog behavior questions.  There are never stupid questions!  We want       you to understand WHY things happen and HOW to fix them.

We offer classes year round in Sterling on Monday evenings. Classes are held at Westwood from October to May.  May to October we train at Sinnissippi Park (weather permitting).

Classes include:  Puppy Training, Beginning and      Advanced Obedience, Ring Prep, Rally Obedience,   Therapy Dog Training, Tracking, and Trick Training.           Private training is also available

Wednesday evening classes are held at the Granny Rose   Animal Shelter in Dixon from May to September.  You must contact them directly to sign up  815-288-7387.

"We have been training with Jim and Sue for 5 years...not because we have to, but because we love it.  Our dog,   Dakota, knows Monday night is puppy school so she is ready by the door.  She is not happy when we have to miss class." Cindy

"I amazed at how well our puppy did just after one class!" Jessica

"Sue and Jim make a great team.  They make class fun and they even allowed my 6 year old to train our puppy.  Our family like the recall game the best and do did our lab!"  Steve

Our classes fill up quickly, please email us at s.jakobs@comcast.net to reserve a spot.
